Today marks a proud moment as the Ministry of Education and the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch the Diploma in Education- Special Education Needs program , a significant national initiative to strengthen inclusive and quality education in the Maldives.
This course is part of a national project fully sponsored by the Ministry of Education, aimed at training teachers in the much needed area of special education. As an added support, participants will also receive a monthly stipend throughout the duration of the course.
